Great value for this size surfboard-shaped plaque. Thicker solid wood pieces this size can get very pricey! I used it to make a child's name design for my brother and his wife who are expecting in a month and have a beach theme for the baby's room. It burns really well (birch wood does), no splintering, and sanded great between coats of sealant. I put spacers/shims on the back to attach a hanging device, as it's not quite thick enough to take a small nail and also looks better with a little space between the board and the wall, I think. Great product, would definitely buy again!
